새해가 되면 사람들은 소원을 빈다. 소원나무에 이루고 싶은 소망을 건다. 그렇게 적어낸 사람들의 소원에는 미래에 대한 희망이 있다. 살아온 나날에 대한 감사와 다가올 삶이 더 나아지길 바라는 기대가 담겨 있다. 그렇다면 소원이 없는 사람은 누구일까
이야기는 소원이 없는 사람들에게 소원을 훔쳐서라도 생의 의지를 쥐어 주고 싶은 마음에서 출발한다.

Death Rally is a story of a life-and-death chase — between someone who wants a wish so badly they're willing to steal one, and the person whose wish gets stolen from them.
When the new year comes, people make wishes. They hang their hopes on a wishing tree. In the wishes people write down, there's hope for the future — gratitude for the days they've lived, and anticipation that the life ahead will be even better. So then, who is the person with no wish at all?
The story begins with a desire to hand the will to live back to those without a wish — even if it means stealing one for them.
