‘Silver Stage’는 노인들의 놀이 문화 공간 중 하나인 콜라텍을 재현한 작업이다. HMD를 착용한 관객은 콜라텍의 무대 위로 보내진다. 음지로 숨어들어갈 수밖에 없는 노인들의 놀이 문화 한복판에서 함께 춤을 추고 그들을 향한 편견 어린 말을 부수며, 노인들의 욕망이 가시화된다.
‘Silver Stage’ recreates the Colatec, a Korean dance hall for seniors named after a blend of "cola" and "discotheque," as an immersive VR experience. Wearing an HMD, visitors step directly onto the Colatec's stage. In a senior leisure culture relegated to the shadows, they dance alongside the elderly and dismantle the prejudice surrounding them, rendering the desires of older adults fully visible.
